What have we been up to?

Class: Year 6 Year: 2015-2016

We have had another busy week, our information station was all about St Petersburg in Russia, we found out lots of interesting information, for example; children sometimes have to go to school on a Saturday!

We have been investigating U.F.O's and putting ourselves in the shoes of an alien who had crash landed on Earth! We finished our week by writing a diary entry, we even had aliens watching us as we worked! Keep a look out for them in our photographs below.

In maths we have focused on Measurement and solved lots of conversion and word problems.                We continued our local area study on Cheetham Hill and researched how much it has changed over the year.

Next week we will be focusing on Science-fiction story writing and calculating area and perimeter.

Don't forget that we will be going ice skating on Tuesday, come in your own clothes, wrapped up warm, coat, gloves, hat and scarf and bring your uniform with you to get changed into in the afternoon.
