English – This term, we will be reading many different traditional fairy tales but turning them on their head and looking at different character's perspective. For example - was the Big Bad Wolf really that mean or was he just misunderstood? We will be writing our own Newsreport scripts, Police interviews and of course Fairy tales.  We can not wait to share them with you.

Reading Book – We will be reading the Midnight Fox by Betsy Byars. Be sure to ask your child what they think of the story!

Maths – The first topic we will be working on this half term is "Place Value" this will include: reading, writing and comparing numbers to 1,000,000, rounding, counting and using negative numbers.  We will then focus on another number topic - "Addition and Subtraction."
