Below is a brief description of what your child will learn in each club.

Football Club

Football club is ran and delivered by our external sports coaches. Each session will consist of energetic warm-up games, drills to practice techniques and mini matches to develop your child's game tactics. All of which will teach your child good sportsmanship while having fun!

Animal Club

At St Chad's, we are proud to house our rabbits and guinea pigs as part of our team! Each week, your child will learn how to look after our rabbits (Salt and Pepper) and our newest additions, our guinea pigs - Mable and Star. Your child will learn how to feed, groom and carry out general 'house-keeping' duties for our pets. Being part of animal club is also great for your child's wellbeing, as they explore the responsibilties and fun that come with looking after a pet! All children who attend animal club will be guided through some rules to keep everybody safe.

Choir Club

Singing is a brilliant way to have fun, de-stress and improve memory! At choir club, your child will learn how to warm up their body and voice through rhymes and rhythms. Also, your child will understand the importance of the diaphragm when singing. During each session, your child will learn songs, both current and traditional, which use simple pitch and harmonies.

Sewing Club

In sewing club, your child will learn how to thread needles as well as a variety of embroidery stitches. Your child will design and make creative pieces such as: a book mark and an embroidery piece of their own. All of which will help your child practise their stitches and learn a new skill.
