Minecraft Adventures

Class: Year 5 Year: 2015-2016

On Monday the 7th March, we had a fascinating trip to the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester, where we were invited to take part in a virtual word design workshop!

When we arrived, we had a tour of the wonderful gallery and our tour guide showed us all the different exhibition spaces. Our next task was to use the IPADS to decide how which art work we would hang on the walls in the gallery if it was up to us! We were art curators! We did this using an interactive programme which mapped out the complete gallery.

After out dinner, we became Minecraft characters! Using the green screen the Designers were able to allow us to be part of the game, we had to act as if a character would.  It was great fun!  Check out our photos below.
